What Do Muslim Religious Leaders in Western Europe Think about the Relationship Between Sharia' Law, Liberal Democracy and Secularity?

This paper presents findings from a recent fieldwork in France, which focused on leaders in established mosques and in Salafi youth organizations. How has their religio-political thought changed over time? How have they reacted to political initiatives for governing Islam in France?
