This paper compares religious fundamentalism and hostility towards various outgroups between Muslim immigrants of Turkish and Moroccan origin and Christian natives in six European countries (Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Sweden). The results show that both attitudes indicating religious fundamentalism and rejection of outgroups are more widespread among Muslim immigrants compared to Christian natives, even after controlling for relevant background variables such as education, age and employment status.
