Individual differences and preferences for immigration

We report results from laboratory and online experiments in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Our experiments recover individual differences in basic preferences for fairness, altruism, trust, and redistribution. We demonstrate that these differences systematically underwrite differences in preferences for immigration.
