103 European Studies and the Multiple Legacies of Stanley Hoffmann

Stanley Hoffmann founding director of the Center for European Studies at Harvard and Paul and Catherine Buttenwieser University Professor Emeritus at Harvard University was through the 1960s until his retirement two years ago one of the leading scholars and public intellectuals writing on France, European Studies and International Relations.   Stanley Hoffmann passed away on September 13, 2015.  He left his mark on European studies through an enormous number of students who are both academics and foreign policy intellectuals and professionals.

This round table explores the multiple legacies of Stanley Hoffmann through the words of his former students and colleagues and is relevant for all of the areas and issues about which he cared deeply.
