Studio: Design Thinking for the Migrant and Refugee Crisis on the Italian Island of Lampedusa

A comprehensive review of the Fall 2016 Design Thinking Studio at the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture, with a purpose of supplying responses and possible solutions to the crisis on the island.  Designs range from Art Installations, Clothing, Food Systems, to Virtual Reality.  The platform of the studio and resulting Social Entrepreneurship products provide a complete understanding of a creative problem-solving process for social good on Lampedusa.
