Social Inequalities in Health: Changing Populations, Durable Inequalities, and Paradoxical Results

Cross-disciplinary approaches to the distribution of population health are converging toward the shared view that systemic cultural, historical, and political processes determine health more than simple health behavior or genetics. The contributors to this roundtable discussion will describe and analyze cutting-edge research in this rapidly-developing area that has been called political epidemiology.
