Thursday, June 27, 2013: 4:00 PM-5:45 PM
C2.17 (Oudemanhuispoort)
The Eurozone crisis is generating extensive institutional change at both the national and European level. This panel focuses on this change from the perspective of markets, policymaking dynamics and the nature of statehood in Europe. It considers the extent to which competences are being transferred to the European level, the way national political institutions are adapting to these new governance arrangements, and the implications of these developments for the quality of democracy in Europe, at the national and pan-European level.
