Wednesday, March 28, 2018: 11:00 AM-12:45 PM
King Arthur (InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile)
As Europe seeks to respond to a surge in support for political parties and social movements on the radical right and radical left, scholars have increasingly sought to develop analytical frameworks and methodological strategies that enable them to capture, accomodate and interpret the dynamic nature of such groups and their interactions with allies and opponents. This panel will focus attention on the internal dynamics of such radical groups and scenes, and on how these shape emergent issue frames, collective identities, tactical repertoires and alliances.
