The session will focus on various legal issues connected to the EU migration as were reflected in Central European countries, namely Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovak Republic. These countries have many things in common including the their attitude to actual migration crisis and solutions adopted by EU institutions, but also differing views or emphases on individual aspects of migration stemming from their societal, cultural and historical experience. These multifactor and multdisciplinary elements are crucial for proper understanding of their views as they are consequently reflected in their legislation. Subsequent confrontation with the all EU solutions in the area of migration may lead to tensions and possibly a refusal of common European solution. The panel will try to find commonalities or differences in the developments in all V4 countries and will compare their societal attitudes to present problems connected to immigration to the EU, chosen legal solutions and similarities or differences in their internal developments.
